In the last 5 years, JSIS has made its mark in the global steel market as quality supplier of Round Billets - used for seamless pipes and forgings, Value Added steel billets as input for wire rods to be used in critical applications for automotive and construction industry, and high quality Reinforcement Steel Bars, produced under the brand name “Jindal Panther”.
The gas based DRI-EAF facility positions us as a sustainable and high-quality supplier of steel in the world with one of the lowest carbon intensity per ton of steel. The ladle furnace and Vacuum Degassing facility coupled with technical expertise in steelmaking gives us the capability to produce clean steels and wide variety of grades required for critical applications.
Having our own 600-mt Jetty on the sea of Oman with efficient port handling facilities, adjacent to the plant gives us immense competitive edge in servicing the needs of the global customers as well as accessing global markets. We have successfully supplied our quality and specialty steel products to all global markets.
